Strengthen your grip: a must-do farmer’s walk:

Grip strength has always been a very critical part of training! Plier-like palms will increase your training and make you stronger!

But many people have entered into the misunderstanding of grip strength training, thinking that relying on those isolation movements (various wrist curling movements) is enough! In fact, this is a big mistake!

What kind of ability you want to strengthen, you need to train in that aspect! If your grip strength is not good enough, choose movements that challenge your grip strength! Then your body will quickly adapt!

The movement I want to introduce to you today is a training that tests your grip strength - the farmer's walk!

The farmer’s walk has always been a practical and powerful movement! But it is often ignored!

Try adding the farmer’s walk to your original training and you’ll get unexpected results!

Training method:

. Choose dumbbells of medium weight that you can hold for 30 to 60 seconds.

. Grab a dumbbell on each side.

. The arms on both sides should remain straight.

. Walk straight forward and maintain good posture (spine and shoulders in a neutral position).

. Remember to keep your core contracted

Walk forward 30 meters or until you can no longer hold it. Performed 3 times in total.

In terms of physical appearance, the benefits of the farmer's walk are that it gives you a strong grip, forearms, trapezius muscles and good posture.

If you don’t have dumbbells at hand, anyone with a bucket, sandbag, kettlebell, briefcase, or suitcase can try it, or help carry the bags for your parents, husband/wife next time you go shopping.
